New Webinar: Managing Severe Asthma: Bridging Respirology and Otolaryngology

Severe asthma and chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) frequently coexist, yet are often managed independently. Join Dr. Simon Couillard (Respirology) and Dr. Marc Tewfik (Otolaryngology) for a case-based discussion on coordinated care, biologic decision-making, and referral red flags.

You’ll learn to:

  • Describe routine clinical collaboration between respirology and otolaryngology for severe asthma with comorbid CRSwNP
  • Apply a practical screening approach to identify nasal polyp disease, including olfactory assessment, SNOT-22, and nasal endoscopy referral
  • Recognize when a patient is not responding as expected to standard treatment and identify red flags signalling an underlying diagnosis requiring referral beyond the respirology-ENT team.

Independent educational activity developed by RESPIPLUS. An unrestricted educational grant has been provided by AstraZeneca Canada. The content, speaker selection, and learning objectives have been developed independently.
